Can eagles see in the dark?

Eagles have acute eyesight. The average distance that a human with excellent eyesight

can see is five feet. Eagles, on the other hand, have a 20-foot field of vision. Over 4 times

the size of the human eye, that.  Despite having superb daytime eyesight, they do not

have as keen night vision as humans. Animals that are active during the day and sleep

or go dormant at night include eagles. Because of this, even though they have

some night vision, you won't often see them out hunting, flying, or swimming.
