Does Fruit Give You Energy?

Fruit may help you stay healthy and provide you energy all day long. Like most things you eat, fruit has calories.

The unit of measurement used to represent how much energy is in food is called a calorie. Fruits include

calories, as well as antioxidants and vitamin C that are vital for your energy levels. A serving of fruit typically

has between 70 and 100 calories. In comparison, a medium-sized apple has 72 calories and a

medium-sized banana has 105 calories. Grapes, pineapple, and blueberries all have 100 calories per cup, 83

calories from blueberries, and 100 calories from pineapple. You can get a lot of antioxidants from fruit, which will shield you from dangerous free radicals.
