HOW MANY TEETH DOES A CROCODILE HAVE?

Depending on the species, a healthy crocodile might have anywhere from 60 to 110 teeth.

Gharials have 110 teeth, but Dwarf Crocodiles only have 60. The sort of food a

crocodile consumes and its habitat have an impact on how many teeth it has. More teeth

are seen in crocodiles that primarily consume fish, such as the Gharial. Fewer are

found in omnivorous crocodiles like the saltwater and nile varieties. Conical and

sharp, crocodile teeth can grow to a variety of sizes depending on where in the mouth they reside.
