What is known regarding cat brains?
A typical cat's brain measures around 5 cm (2 in) length and weighs 5-30
g (0.88-1.06 oz). Although a cat's brain is smaller than a dog's or a
human's, both objectively and in terms of body mass, a cat's brain nonetheless
shares many similarities with the human brain in terms of structure. The
relative surface area of cat brains is increased by intricate surface folding
patterns, just like in humans. This greater surface area is believed to
enhance cognition (complex reasoning) and general brain function.
