What Is The Best Temperature for Parrots?

While they suffer in extreme heat, parrots do better in hot than low temperatures.

For big parrots like macaws, African greys, and cockatiels, the optimal ambient

temperature is between 65°F to 80°F. Smaller species like budgies and parrotlets

seem to like a little cooler temperatures. How hot can parrots tolerate?

This optimal temperature range is wide. Healthy parrots can withstand heat

for a time, but it is best to keep the environment at a maximum of 80°F.
